Sunriver Destination Wedding
Today I’m sharing one of my favorite weddings from last summer — Stevi and Ryan’s intimate Sunriver destination wedding. Stevi is a good friend of mine, my Engaging Eugene partner-in-crime, and of course a bad@ss wedding photographer! So as you can imagine, it was a huge honor when she asked me to coordinate her wedding. I’m so glad I got to be there to witness such an incredible day; all of her family and friends made me feel so welcome and treated me like a guest.
Stevi and Ryan live in Eugene, but Sunriver is a special place to them so they rented a beautiful vacation home to accommodate their family and close friends, and it was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and reception.
There is joy literally oozing out of these photos by Grace + Jaden Photography… seriously, between their adorable pup Happy, their flower grandmas and babies, and Stevi’s infectious smile… it’s impossible not to well up with happiness when looking through these photos. Enjoy!!
Stevi made literally hundreds of these adorable hearts on skewers, and they were soo adorable down the ceremony aisle and all around the ceremony and reception site!
She also hand stained and painted all of her beautiful wedding signs, including this unplugged ceremony sign (which should make an appearance at every wedding! Unplugged ceremonies are the best).
Stevi and Ryan did their first look with their ridiculously adorable pup, Happy. I love it when couples include their fur-kids in their weddings!
Flower girls are cute… but have you ever seen flower grandmas holding flower babies!? Oh. My. Word. Dangerous levels of cuteness…
When Stevi and Ryan came back to the reception after photos, they did a bubble entrance to get the party started! Such a fun idea that makes for adorable photos.
The reception consisted of a breakfast burrito bar from Sheild Catering (SO tasty!), and an ice cream bar with all the fixin’s. Yumm. If you ask me, every wedding should have an ice cream bar…
Stevi even made this adorable flamingo ring toss game by spray painting plastic flamingos and rings in her wedding colors!
What a beautiful, joy-filled day. I know these two are going to have many many many years of happiness because they are so genuinely in love and truly respect and admire one another. Cheers to you two, Stevi and Ryan. <3
