Intimate Oregon Coast Destination Wedding
I’ve said this many times before but the reality of it is becoming more and more apparent this wedding season… I seriously get to work with the BEST couples. I’m 5 weddings into this season and every single one of my brides and grooms have been truly fantastic to work with. Also, I’ve worked with these last several couples for around a year each! I love it when couples bring me on early in the process (hint hint… if you’re getting married summer 2018, NOW is the time to hire your planner/coordinator!)
Nicole and Manny found me early on in their engagement, before they had finalized their venue or any other details. They live in Southern California but wanted to have an intimate destination wedding in Yachats, Oregon (where Manny proposed!) and knew they needed some help bringing all of the details together. Nicole and Manny happened upon Yachats when they were googling vacation ideas and the Overleaf Lodge in Yachats, along the gorgeous Oregon rocky coast appeared. They traveled there and fell in love with it… little did they know they’d be getting married in that same spot a few years later!
They envisioned an intimate destination wedding, saying their vows overlooking the ocean with their closest family and friends, followed by an indoor dinner party with delicious food and simple yet elegant decor.
Catalina Jean captured everything perfectly; enjoy the beautiful images!
And if you are planning an Oregon Coast wedding, I am obsessed with this part of the state and would absolutely love to help you out. <3
This bluff overlooking the ocean is the absolute perfect spot to tie the knot!! It’s right outside of the Overleaf Lodge and the views are incredible.
After the beautiful & heartfelt ceremony, guests walked over to the Overleaf Event Center where a three course dinner and dessert from Just Good Cookin’ awaited them.
Passionflower Design in Eugene provided all of the flowers and greenery for the wedding, and they left me with a big bucket of extras so I had fun adding extra greenery to the cake table and the fireplace!
Something Borrowed in Portland provided all of the wooden tables and chairs, wine barrels, and modern place settings and flatware. It was the perfect mix of rustic, modern, and elegant.
These sunset images of Nicole and Manny are absolutely stunning…they are such a beautiful couple, inside and out!
Nicole and Manny, thank you so much for inviting me into your lives and trusting me with such an important day. It was an honor to work with you and your families and hopefully we can meet up again some day when I am in Southern CA. <3
