First of all, you might be wondering — who is this for?
Our second I&G workshop is for all wedding professionals — photographers, planners/coordinators, florists, bakers, stationery designers, you name it — the principals we will be learning will apply to all wedding business owners, so if you run a biz in the wedding industry and want to grow your business, you are 100% welcome here. Whether you are just getting started or have several years under your belt, you will leave with new knowledge, ideas, inspiration, and connections to move you forward.
Location: the Inn at Diamond Woods in Monroe, OR. (35 minutes from Eugene, 1 hour 40 minutes from Portland, 45 minutes from Salem)
This lovely venue sits atop a golf course with views of the beautiful Willamette Valley. We’ll eat breakfast together inside the main lodge area with massive floor to ceiling windows, and spend our time learning from the pros in the fireside room. Lunch will be on the patio downstairs, and the editorial shoot portion will take place outside and around the grounds.
Time: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm OR 9:00 am – 7:00 pm for photographers participating in the editorial shoot. It’s a long day, but we’ll make sure you’re well-fed and happy and you’ll be learning SO much! We’ll start with breakfast and getting to know each other from 9-10, then we’ll head into sessions for the rest of the morning, break for lunch/breakout sessions, followed by more educational sessions, headshots, and finish up with the editorial shoot. The full schedule will be sent out closer to the workshop date.
Education: You’ll have the opportunity to hear from pros in several fields of the wedding and creative industry including Catalina Jean of SEO is Fun, Amanda Jae Photography, Marissa of Quil & Co. Design, Rebekah Carey, Ali Briskey, Ashley Cook, and myself on topics including branding, valuing our work and charging appropriately, how to stand out in a saturated market, mastering SEO, and more!
Creative Team: We have a fabulous team on board to help make this event incredible including florals by Ali Briskey Designs, catering by Inn at Diamond Woods, Stationery from Rebekah Carey, Headshots by Ashley Cook Photography, Cake by Noisette Pastry Kitchen, Hair by Kelsey Garison, Makeup by Cynthia Costa, Attire from Blush Bridal, Rentals from Luxe Rentals, and more!

The investment for this one-day, jam-packed educational workshop is $595/person if registered before May 15th or $650/person if registered after May 15th. This includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, SEVEN educational sessions, breakout groups, headshots, goodies and swag, and of course the beautiful editorial shoot for photographers.
Here’s what a few of our Round One attendees are saying:
I had such a wonderful experience attending Ignite and Gather. Becky created an environment that promoted community over competition. As an introvert, I really appreciated the intimate setting. I feel like I not only walked away with connections, but with truly meaningful relationships. I would definitely recommend this workshop.Auraleigha, Wedding Planner
The Ignite & Gather workshop was a jackpot of information, from how to style flat lays, to the importance of vendor communication, Becky Hart from Event Crush made sure that everything was covered! I would absolutely recommend attending this workshop, because no matter your experience level, you’ll definitely come away having learned something new.Rebekah, Wedding Photographer
I attended the first workshop by Ignite and Gather and it was so phenomenal! You would have never known that it was the first one put on by the host Becky and it was very informative. It was 100% geared towards the real meaning of community over competition and it created a warm honest environment for many weddings creatives to discuss a wide variety of topics. The whole day was perfectly planned with styling, design, and timeline ideas and it ended with a gorgeous styled shoot for us all to get involved in. The ending with a round table sort of discussion was fun and such a great way to wrap up the day. I highly recommend attending any future workshops because I will definitely be attending the next one!Shivani, Wedding Planner
