Intimate Leach Botanical Garden Wedding

Where to even start with these two!?

I originally met Heather in our local MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group and we discovered we had several mutual friends. It turns out that we also had two kiddos roughly of the same ages, so once Heather and Josh were engaged, our wedding planning meetings doubled as play dates. Our kids hit it off, and so did we...I'm so glad that the wedding planning process brought me and Heather together, and that she is now a dear friend of mine.

Heather and Josh are seriously two of the sweetest people I know, and their love for each other is so evident. They have both been through a lot, and it's clear that they were brought together for a reason. Witnessing their special day as not only their coordinator but as someone who truly admires them, was amazing!

Remember the Eagle Creek fire that spread through the Gorge last September? Heather and Josh had originally planned their intimate ceremony to take place at Wachlella Falls, but it was shut down just weeks before their wedding due to the fire. Thankfully, they found the perfect backup location, the Leach Botanical Garden. It fit them perfectly, and they still got the woodsy vibe they were going for. Plus, how incredible is the stone fireplace they got married in front of!?

After the ceremony, the newlyweds explored downtown Portland and had some amazing photos taken, and then headed to Hotel Vintage in downtown Portland for an intimate wine cellar reception, complete with a delicious 4-course dinner.

Enjoy all of the wonderful photos of this magical day captured by none other than Joshua Rainey Photography!

Colorful Jasper House Farm Wedding

Last Summer I had the pleasure of planning and coordinating Dana and Zach's beautiful wedding at Jasper House Farm in Pleasant Hill. Dana and Zach came all the way from New York, where they currently live, to have their wedding back in their home state. They included lots of fun details including custom enamel pins of their faces for their guests, beautiful custom signage, an abundance of colorful florals, 3 different wedding cakes for their guests to try, and so much more. It was an incredible day and Cassy Berry captured gorgeous photos of it all.

Dana and Zach are the sweetest people, and Dana was also an incredibly organized bride. They made my job a breeze that day!

This was my 4th wedding at Jasper House Farm and I will just never get tired of the beauty of this darling filbert farm.

Sunriver Destination Wedding

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite weddings from last summer -- Stevi and Ryan's intimate Sunriver destination wedding. Stevi is a good friend of mine, my Engaging Eugene partner-in-crime, and of course a bad@ss wedding photographer! So as you can imagine, it was a huge honor when she asked me to coordinate her wedding. I'm so glad I got to be there to witness such an incredible day; all of her family and friends made me feel so welcome and treated me like a guest.

Stevi and Ryan live in Eugene, but Sunriver is a special place to them so they rented a beautiful vacation home to accommodate their family and close friends, and it was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and reception.

There is joy literally oozing out of these photos by Grace + Jaden Photography... seriously, between their adorable pup Happy, their flower grandmas and babies, and Stevi's infectious smile... it's impossible not to well up with happiness when looking through these photos. Enjoy!!

Stevi made literally hundreds of these adorable hearts on skewers, and they were soo adorable down the ceremony aisle and all around the ceremony and reception site!

She also hand stained and painted all of her beautiful wedding signs, including this unplugged ceremony sign (which should make an appearance at every wedding! Unplugged ceremonies are the best).

Stevi and Ryan did their first look with their ridiculously adorable pup, Happy. I love it when couples include their fur-kids in their weddings!

Flower girls are cute... but have you ever seen flower grandmas holding flower babies!? Oh. My. Word. Dangerous levels of cuteness...

When Stevi and Ryan came back to the reception after photos, they did a bubble entrance to get the party started! Such a fun idea that makes for adorable photos.

The reception consisted of a breakfast burrito bar from Sheild Catering (SO tasty!), and an ice cream bar with all the fixin's. Yumm. If you ask me, every wedding should have an ice cream bar...

Stevi even made this adorable flamingo ring toss game by spray painting plastic flamingos and rings in her wedding colors!

What a beautiful, joy-filled day. I know these two are going to have many many many years of happiness because they are so genuinely in love and truly respect and admire one another. Cheers to you two, Stevi and Ryan. <3

Intimate Crater Lake Wedding

Jacy and Alan's wedding at Crater Lake National Park back in June 2015 was a day I will absolutely never forget. The weather was perfect, the views were unreal, and everything came together wonderfully despite it being one of the most logistically challenging destination weddings I've done.

The ceremony took place on the rim of the lake, and guests traveled to Diamond Lake Resort by way of school bus for the reception following. Jacy and Alan came from Nebraska for their intimate wedding and their guests flew and drove in from all over the country for this special day.

Enjoy the lovely photos by Ashley Cook Photography. I was so glad she was there with me that weekend for this crazy adventure!

Are you planning a Crater Lake wedding? I would love to help you out! I am familiar with the permitting process, logistics of transportation, and local vendors to the area. Get in touch and let's chat!
